Hello Visitor, welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Christopher Aime. I am a recent graduate student, who received a master’s in Geographic Information Science (GISc) at Lehman College (CUNY). Recently, I was a part of an internship at the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN), The Earth Institute at Columbia University studying global flood risk where we used to google street view to survey infrastructure vulnerable to flood damages and risk. A paper I was involved in was recently published in the journal of Atmospheric Science, with York College where I help map air pollution near JFK international airport and LaGuardia domestic airport. I enjoyed learning more and more about public health, geography, environmental science, and cartography while using statistical and programming tools. My strongest expertise is data analysis, biostatistics, in-depth research, teaching GIS, and helping others.
